Product Description
Machine Base
The machine base is manufactured of one piece close grained graded cast Iron box type design, heavily reinforced with ribs provide high rigidity & stability.
Machine Guideways
V & Flat guide ways precisely hand scrapped with continuous automatic lubrication.
Grinding Wheel Slide is coated with Turcite coated which gives stick slip free movement, excellent vibration damping and high positioning accuracy.
Work Head
The machine has a rigid Universal Work Head, which can be swivelled to facilitate taper grinding.
The drive to the work head is built for stationery and live spindle grinding.
Work Head with Antifriction bearings and variable frequency drive offered as optional.
Wheel Head
Wheel Head Spindle is made of special alloy steel ground and micro finish to achieve high dimensional stability and long life.
Spindles runs in precision white metal bearings which give high accuracy and excellent surface finish to the work piece.
Cartridge type grinding wheel head spindle with precision antifriction can be offered as optional.
Tail Stock
Rigid Tail stock
Tail stock is spring loaded and can accept MT-3 Taper
Hydraulic Actuation & Micro Taper correction facility in optional.
Internal Grinding Attachment (Optional)
This unit with its independent drive motor is hinged on the wheel head and can be quickly lowered in to grinding position
The drive to the spindle is transmitted by flat belt.
Coolant
Coolant supply is provided with electrical pump fitted on separate tank
Electricals
The machine is supplied with all electrical suitable for 440V, AC, 50 Hzs. The motors are of reputed make, The electrical panel is mounted on one side of the machine, Push button station is located at easy reach of the operator.
